Earlier Finland Today reported about a shooting in Alavus, Southern Ostrobothnia, that took place on Friday where a local man, born 1978, shot a man of the same birth year in his home yard. Soon after, the man shot at his ex-fiance who is still in hospital after suffering serious injuries.
The police have updated us that after the shootings the gunman shot at himself and was seriously injured but has now died of his wounds.
According to the preliminary investigations, the reason for the shooter’s actions was jealousy.
