Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to remain sunny, though temperatures will be on the colder side.

Then, the meteorologists say, it will start to rain.

From Thursday night through the weekend, rain will spread across Finland.

In southern areas, expect a mix of freezing rain, rain and drizzle.

By the end of the week, temperatures in southern Finland may climb above zero degrees Celsius during the day, resulting in slushy roads that could refreeze into ice overnight.

For safety, meteorologists recommend wearing boots with good traction.
