On Monday, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) confirmed 345 new coronavirus infections in Finland.
In the past 24 hours, most new cases were found in the following cities:
135 in Helsinki, 38 in Espoo, 33 in Vantaa, 17 in Turku, 15 in Oulu, 9 in Kirkkonummi, 8 in Rauma, 5 in Hyvinkää, 5 in Kuopio.
Last weekend, THL confirmed a total of 1,313 new infections.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of coronavirus cases in Finland is 107, 666.
