The health protection authority has announced a boil water advisory effective from April 28, 2026, at 21:30 for the following locations: Juvanmalmi, Kalajärvi, Lahnus, Luukki, Korpilampi, Niittymäki, Odilampi, Perusmäki, Pirttimäki and Punametsä.
The Helsinki Region Environmental Services Authority (HSY) disclosed the disruption in a news release.
Cause of Disruption
This disruption stems from a break in a water main within the region. As a result of decreased water pressure, it is necessary to boil drinking water as a safety precaution. Water pressure in the network is expected to be restored by Wednesday morning.
Temporary Water Distribution Points
Temporary water distribution points will be set up at the following locations:
- Perusmäen Puistotie 12
- Ruskaniitty 4
- Keskijuoksu 19
- Kaihonkukankuja 3
- Intersection of Korpilammentie and Lahnuksentie
Residents in the areas under the boil water advisory must boil water for at least five minutes before consumption or cooking. The boil water advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
