This week the weather will become cooler. Rains, winds and thunders are ahead for the entire country.

After the intense heat wave, the weather becomes cooler. The temperatures are likely to stay around 20 degrees Celsius in most parts.

The high-pressure area moves away and a low-pressure area arrives from the Atlantic over Europe, bringing rains, clouds and winds to Finland.

Rains begin on Monday in the western parts and by the evening rain showers and chances for thunder are likely in the capital region, too. Rains are also likely in the northern parts and by Tuesday it will rain in eastern parts.

On Wednesday, the low-pressure area is hovering over most parts of the country. The weather is unsettled. Scattered showers and thunder are expected.

Friday is likely to be the sunniest day of the week.
