President Sauli Niinistö will meet President of the United States Donald Trump on Tuesday, August 29. The meeting of the two presidents will be organized in the White House.

This is the first meeting between President Niinistö and President Trump. Finland Today will publish more details, such as the topics of discussion, closer to the date of the visit.

President Niinistö visited White House previously in May 2016, when he met the former US president, Barack Obama. Before that, a Finnish president visited the White House in 2002, when Tarja Halonen met George W. Bush.
