Greenpeace climbs on top of a landmark building in the Helsinki center.

HELSINKI—The climate activists of Greenpeace climbed the Helsinki Railway Station on Thursday around 11:00 in the morning.
In a tweet about their action, they were demanding that the government-owned railway company, VR, should stop the freight traffic of Russian fossil fuels and chemicals that from their point of view “fund the war in Ukraine.”
The yellow sheet that they hoisted on top on top of the station’s front facade said in bold letters in Finnish that “STOP RUSSIA’S COAL TRAINS.”
Dressed in red overalls and wearing a yellow helmet, two persons that appeared to be women were standing on the roof above the doors. With both hands, they were holding ropes so that the sheet would not catch the wind and fly away.
“Get down from there!” a man shouted from the street in the middle of two police cars observing the protest.
The Ukrainian flag was flapping in the wind on top of the building. Soon, a man who was holding the top rope appeared.
He looked relaxed and was munching something, possibly crackers.
