From the beginning of the pandemic, there are 20,747 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Friday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

One new death has been reported, and the death toll is now at 375. There are 104 people in hospital care, which is 14 more patients than in our last report on Thursday.

The number of new infections between Thursday and Friday is 461.

In the past 24 hours, most new infections were confirmed in the following cities: 102 in Helsinki (6,475), 52 in Tampere (570), 51 in Espoo (2,408) and 44 in Vantaa (2,170).
