From the beginning of the pandemic, there are 21,216 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Saturday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

The number of new infections between Friday and Saturday is 469.

In the past 24 hours, most new infections were confirmed in the following cities: 188 in Helsinki (6,663), 62 in Espoo (2,470), 59 in Vantaa (2,229).

In addition, new infections were confirmed in the cities and municipalities below:

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total death toll is 375. There are 104 people in hospital care. 10 people are currently receiving intensive care for the symptoms.
