On Monday, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) has confirmed 341 new coronavirus infections in Finland.
In the past 24 hours, most new cases were found in the following cities:
87 in Helsinki, 43 in Vantaa, 41 in Espoo.
New infections were also confirmed in these cities and municipalities:
26 in Lahti, 14 in Turku, 13 in Jyväskylä, 12 in Lappeenranta, 11 in Tampere, 7 in Kerava, 6 in Hyvinkää, 5 in Kotka, 5 in Pirkkala, 5 in Salo, 4 in Tuusula, 4 in Laukaa, 4 in Savonlinna, 3 in Närpiö, 3 in Mäntsälä, 3 in Oulu, 2 in Imatra, 2 in Raasepori, 2 in Lempäälä, 2 in Nurmijärvi, 2 in Pornainen, 2 in Lohja, 2 in Kaarina, 2 in Kuopio, 2 in Porvoo.
In addition, one new infection was confirmed in scattered cities across the country.
Last weekend, a total of 742 new coronavirus infections were confirmed.
Most cases were found in the capital region: 343.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of coronavirus cases in Finland is 79, 737.
