Bad driving weather is expected in Easter return traffic for those returning from Lapland, North Ostrobothnia and Kainuu regions on Monday.

The Finnish Meteorological Institute forecasts a mix of rain and snow in areas around Lapland. Closer to the evening one should prepare for hard rain in southern Finland.

The Easter return traffic is, according to Fintraffic, an organization specializing in traffic control and management services, going to start around noon and continue until late in the evening. The busiest roads are going to be the Finnish national roads 3,4 and 5.

Traffic jams are not expected.
