Since the beginning of the pandemic, there are 39,335 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Wednesday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

The number of new infections between Tuesday and Wednesday is 324.

In the past 24 hours, most new infections were confirmed in the following cities:

72 in Helsinki, 44 in Vantaa, 41 in Turku, 36 in Espoo and 19 in Oulu.

In addition, new infections were confirmed in the cities and municipalities below:
