There are 12,212 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Monday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).
The number of new infections between Sunday and Monday is 214.
Most new infections were confirmed in the following cities: 74 in Helsinki (4,121), 45 in Vaasa (456), 27 in Espoo (1,335), 20 in Vantaa (1,305).
In addition, new infections were confirmed in the cities and municipalities below:
12 in Turku, 12 in Jyväskylä, 9 in Mustasaari, 3 in Nurmijärvi, 3 in Pietarsaari, 2 in Loviisa, 2 in Vöyri, 2 in Lohja, 1 in Oulu, 1 in Mänsälä, 1 in Oulu, 1 in Porvoo, 1 in Tampere, 1 in Rassepori, 1 in Keminmaa, 1 in Vihti, 1 in Pori, 1 in Kauniainen, 1 in Kirkkonummi, 1 in Hattula, 1 in Kokkola, 1 in Sipoo.
New infections were also confirmed in Karkkila and Närpiö, but the number is unknown.
No new deaths have been confirmed. The death toll is at 346.
On Sunday, 149 new coronavirus infections were confirmed in Finland. Most infections were confirmed in Helsinki (64), Espoo (17) and Vantaa (16).
The individual statistics of new infections don’t include municipalities where there are fewer than 5 infections.
