On Tuesday, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) confirmed 184 new coronavirus infections in Finland.

In the past 24 hours, most new cases were found in the following cities:

47 in Helsinki, 23 in Vantaa, 20 in Espoo, 15 in Salo and 9 in Tampere.

New infections were also confirmed in, among others, Lahti (8), Turku (8), Kerava (5), Eurajoki (4), Vihti (3), Lappeenranta (3), Nurmijärvi (3), Seinäjoki (3), Oulu (3).

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of coronavirus cases in Finland is 87,529.
