On Tuesday, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) confirmed 612 new coronavirus infections in Finland.

In the past 24 hours, most new cases were found in the following cities:

154 in Helsinki, 69 in Espoo, 61 Tampere, 55 in Vantaa, 31 in Turku, 23 in Lahti.

In addition, new infections were also confirmed, for example, Äänekoski (17), Jyväskylä (15), Porvoo (9), Kajaani (9), Oulu (9), Heinola (7), Lappeenranta (7), Järvenpää (7), Rovaniemi (6), Hyvinkää (6), Kirkkonummi (6), Kuopio (6), Tuusula (5), Kerava (5).

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of coronavirus cases in Finland is 103, 851.
