After receiving further clarification from Sirpa Paatero, the minister of local government and ownership steering, regarding the timeout message in connection with the collective labor agreement dispute, the Finnish Post and Logistics Union PAU has decided to suspend the strike that was scheduled to end on Wednesday at midnight.

The strike has been canceled for the time being.

PAU requires that Posti transfers the personnel of the parcel and e-commerce sorting operations back to Posti Oy in order to start collective labor agreement negotiations with a clean slate.

Employees are to return to work for their next shifts, if possible.
