On Friday, a second coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has been verified at the Helsinki University Hospital HUS.

The infected person is a Finnish woman in working age.

The infected woman returned home after diagnostic sampling yesterday.

She has been instructed to stay home. In isolation.

The woman had arrived from northern Italy several days ago. While traveling, the woman has not exposed others to the virus because her symptoms started after arriving in Finland.

However, the doctors specialized in infectious diseases are searching for people possibly exposed to the disease.
