Prime Minister Sanna Marin (the SDP) is going to begin her vacation on Thursday. Initially, her vacation was supposed to begin on July 20, but after arriving from the extraordinary meeting of the European Council in Brussels on Tuesday, she has been busy answering various interview requests regarding the results.

“Today, finally, a vacation of a couple of weeks should begin after a hard spring and an early summer,” Prime Minister Marin said on Twitter.

The Finnish government has confirmed that Marin will be on vacation until August 7.
