Minister of Finance Katri Kulmuni (the Centre) will step down from her post as a minister.
The reason is based on the Finnish media scandal created by her use of consulting services related to communications. Her communications education cost over 45,000 euros, and it was paid by the government.
On Wednesday, Kulmuni said on Twitter that she will pay back the costs.
The government’s guidelines stress that public procurements fewer than 20,000 euros can be purchased without a tender competition.
Kulmuni told about her decision in a press conference Friday.
