While Wednesday and Thursday are partly cloudy in southern Finland and rainy in the central parts—daytime temperatures staying between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius—a warm, southern wind will blow Mediterranean air over Finland on Friday.
This, according to weather service Foreca, is the beginning of a warm weather trend for the turn of September and October.
“On the weekend, the temperatures could climb over 15 degrees in the southern and central parts,” Kristian Roine, a meteorologist at Foreca said.
