Marry Me (directed by Kat Coiro) manages to arouse the spirit of 1990s romantic comedies with grace and wit.
Owen Wilson, who plays Charlie, lands the role of “the regular guy” with situational comedy skills unseen since the days of Hugh Grant.
Jennifer Lopez, who is the music superstar Kat, on the other hand, portrays enough comforting warmth to keep the viewer cozy in the seat.
In a nutshell, the plot is about two strangers who agree to marry and then get to know each other in a romance about two different people searching for something real in a world where value is based on likes and followers.
The viewer can expect a lot of laughs and a real good time with this one.
‘Marry Me’ premieres in cinemas on February 18.
