On Wednesday, the southern wind is blowing from the Gulf of Bothnia in stormy conditions and rains are approaching from the west.

In the afternoon, the weather is going to be mostly cloudy, rains and flurries are spreading across the country.

Hard gusts of wind are expected throughout the day. In the coastal areas, the wind could blow up to 20 meters per second.

In the evening the weather is going to get milder. The temperatures are going to rise between 1 and 5 degrees in the southern and western parts; in eastern and northern parts, the temperatures are going to stay between 0 and -5 degrees.

A mix of sleet and rain is expected for the rest of the week in southern and central parts.
