PLUS DEGREES will soon replace the bitterly cold January temperatures.

Temperatures between 5 and 18 degrees below zero are expected on Wednesday. At the same time, an area of snow will move across Finland, bringing storms that will disrupt travel on Thursday. The Finnish Meteorological Institute has issued warnings for Uusimaa, Southwest Finland and Kymenlaakso.

But! On Sunday, temperatures are expected to reach plus degrees, especially in southern Finland, according to the Finnish Meteorological Institute.

Similar temperatures will continue next week, and no severe frost is expected.
