The take-off of a Finnair plane was interrupted at the Brussels Airport on Thursday noon.
“Sorry about the small breaking. There’s a small kitten in front of the plane, and we are waiting for the airport personnel to take it to safety,” the captain of the plane announced.
A passenger on the plane, Miapetra Kumpula-Natri, described the incident on her Twitter account.

“The plane was apparently just approaching the runway, but the captain’s comment caused positive attention,” Kumpula-Natri said after arriving in Helsinki.
