There are 9,379 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Thursday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).
The number of new infections between Wednesday and Thursday is 91.
Two new deaths related to the virus have been confirmed. The death toll is now 343.
16 new infections have been confirmed in Helsinki (3,227), 9 in Vantaa (1,089), 7 in Espoo (1,100), 4 in Kuopio (78), 3 in Jämsä (16), 3 in Mikkeli (100), 3 in Lappeenranta (26), 3 in Tampere (216), 3 in Pirkkala (18), 2 in Mänttä-Vilppula (24), 2 in Kotka (30), 2 in Nurmijärvi (85), 2 in Äänekoski (41), 2 in Hämeenlinna (84), 2 in Kerava (102), 1 in Turku (324), 1 in Vaasa (55), 1 in Raasepori (33), 1 in Lieksa (11), 1 in Kempele (9), 1 in Hamina (10), 1 in Kauniainen (40), 1 in Kangasala (16), 1 in Tuusula (84), 1 in Kirkkonummi (99), 1 in Pori (35), 1 in Lahti (166), 5 in Pedesöre (previous number unknown).
The individual statistics of new infections don’t include municipalities where there are fewer than 5 infections.
