On Saturday, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) has confirmed 791 new coronavirus infections in Finland.

In the past 24 hours, most new cases were found in the following cities:

227 in Helsinki, 84 in Vantaa, 82 in Espoo, 54 in Turku and 52 in Tampere.

New infections were also confirmed at least in these cities and municipalities:

32 in Lahti, 16 in Nokia, 12 in Lappeenranta, 12 in Kotka, 11 in Kuopio, 11 in Kerava, 11 in Jyväskylä, 10 in Mikkeli, 10 in Hyvinkää, 9 in Järvenpää, 9 in Laukaa, 9 in Hämeenlinna, 7 in Nurmijärvi, 7 in Pori, 6 in Hollola, 6 in Kouvola, 6 in Imatra, 6 in Hollola, 4 in Salo, 4 in Lieto, 4 in Kirkkonummi, 4 in Sipoo, 4 in Joensuu, 3 in Hamina, 3 in Vihti, 3 in Raisio, 3 in Virrat, 3 in Jämsä, 3 in Savonlinna, 3 in Porvoo, 3 in Heinola, 2 in Kaarina, 2 in Pirkkala, 2 in Karkkila, 2 in Siuntio, 2 in Koski Tl, 2 in Kankaanpää, 2 in Huittinen, 2 in Mäntsälä, 2 in Taipalsaari, 2 in Maarianhamina, 2 in Vaasa.
