Since the beginning of the pandemic, there are 30,073 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Friday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

The number of new infections between Thursday and Friday is 501.

In the past 24 hours, most new infections were confirmed in the following cities:

126 in Helsinki (9,137), 59 in Turku (1,370), 51 in Vantaa (3,155) and 49 in Espoo (3,339).

In addition, new infections were confirmed in the cities and municipalities below:

New infections were also reported in Nurmes but the numbers are unknown.
