Since the beginning of the pandemic, there are 28,732 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Wednesday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).
The number of new infections between Tuesday and Wednesday is 490.
In the past 24 hours, most new infections were confirmed in the following cities:
142 in Helsinki, 59 in Espoo, 55 in Turku, 50 in Vantaa.
