On Monday, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) confirmed 449 new coronavirus infections in Finland.


In the past 24 hours, most new cases were found in the following cities:

121 in Helsinki, 53 in Espoo, 47 in Vantaa, 35 in Turku, 24 in Oulu, 12 in Rauma, 12 in Lappeenranta, 10 in Jyväskylä, 10 in Kuopio, 8 in Hyvinkää, 8 in Nurmijärvi, 7 in Kaarina, 7 in Kokkola, 6 in Nokia, 6 in Kirkkonummi, 4 in Salo, 4 in Lohja.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of coronavirus cases in Finland is 112,656.
