There are 10,929 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Tuesday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

The number of new infections between Monday and Tuesday is 227. One new death has been reported and the death toll totals 346.

Most new infections were confirmed in the following cities: 77 in Vaasa (169), 40 in Helsinki (3,746), 12 in Turku (376).

In addition, new infections were confirmed in the cities and municipalities below:

10 in Espoo, 8 in Jyväskylä, 7 in Hämeenlinna, 7 in Rovaniemi, 7 in Vantaa, 6 in Tampere, 6 in Joensuu, 3 in Äänekoski, 2 in Seinäjoki, 2 in Mikkeli, 2 in Kirkkonummi, 2 in Kruunupyy, 2 in Tornio, 2 in Lahti, 2 in Puumala, 2 in Hattula, 1 Jämsä, 1 in Nokia, 1 in Pirkkala, 1 in Kangasala, 1 in Porvoo, 1 in Sipoo, 1 in Salo, 1 in Hyvinkää, 1 in Askola, 1 in Loppi, 1 in Mustasaari, 1 in Lieksa, 1 in Alavus, 1 in Oulu, 1 in Pedesöre, 1 in Tuusula, 1 in Laukaa, 1 in Hollola.

The individual statistics of new infections don’t include municipalities where there are fewer than 5 infections.
