Since the beginning of the pandemic, there are 38,790 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Monday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

The number of new infections between Sunday and Monday is 200.

In the past 24 hours, most new infections were confirmed in the following cities:

64 in Helsinki, 21 in Vantaa, 13 in Turku and 10 in Oulu.

In addition, new infections were confirmed in the cities and municipalities below:

9 in Tampere, 9 in Espoo, 7 in Vaasa, 7 in Hämeenlinna, 5 in Lahti, 4 in Nurmijärvi, 4 in Kuopio, 3 in Kotka, 3 in Ilomantsi, 3 in Lappeenranta, 3 in Jyväskylä, 3 in Kouvola, 2 in Järvenpää, 2 in Pori, 2 in Laihia, 2 in Kerava, 2 in Tornio, 1 in Raisio, 1 in Pedesöre, 1 in Mikkeli, 1 in Brändö, 1 in Sulkava, 1 in Mikkeli, 1 in Maalahti, 1 in Orivesi, 1 in Raasepori,  1 in Kempele, 1 in Joensuu, 1 in Korsnäs, 1 in Sotkamo, 1 in Loviisa, 1 in Heinola, 1in Ruovesi, 1 in Petäjävesi, 1 in Imatra, 1 in Pietarsaari, 1 in Mäntsälä, 1 in Hyvinkää, 1 in Pirkkala, 1 in Mustasaari.

Between Friday and Sunday a total of 522 new infections were confirmed.

Most cases were found in Helsinki (119) and Vantaa (103).
