In the past 24 hours, most new infections were confirmed in the following cities:

39 in Helsinki, 17 in Espoo, 14 in Vantaa and 14 in Oulu.

In addition, new infections were confirmed in the cities and municipalities below:

9 in Turku, 7 in Kouvola, 7 in Kuopio, 7 in Tampere, 4 in Mänttä-Vilppula, 4 in Jyväskylä, 4 in Kaarina, 4 in Valkeakoski, 4 in Pietarsaari, 3 in Lahti, 3 in Kotka, 2 in Lappeenranta, 2 in Riihimäki, 2 in Järvenpää, 2 in Tuusula, 2 in Nurmijärvi, 1 in Kerava, 1 in Sastamala, 1 in Hyvinkää, 1 in Laukaa, 1 in Siuntio, 1 in Punkalaidun, 1 in Kempele, 1 in Mustasaari, 1 in Hämeenlinna, 1 in Hamina, 1 in Tornio, 1 in Ii, 1 in Pirkkala, 1 in Loppi, 1 in Keuruu, 1 in Naantali, 1 in Vöyri, 1 in Pedesöre.

Last weekend (Sat.-Sun.), a total of 426 new coronavirus infections were confirmed in Finland.
