There are 10,702 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Monday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

The number of new infections between Sunday and Monday is 164.

Most new infections were confirmed in the following cities: 69 in Helsinki (3,706), 20 in Vantaa (1,205) and 12 in Espoo (1,219).

In addition, new infections were confirmed in the cities and municipalities below:

9 in Vaasa, 5 in Oulu, 3 in Kolari, 3 in Lappeenranta, 3 in Turku, 2 in Kuopio, 2 in Jämsä, 2 in Hämeenlinna, 2 in Raisio, 2 in Kerava, 2 in Tuusula, 1 in Kaarina, 1 in Forssa, 1 in Rauma, 1in Masku, 1 in Salo, 1 in Sipoo, 1 in Tampere, 1 in Kotka, 1 in Lempäälä, 1 in Mäntslä, 1 in Joensuu, 1 in Pedesöre, 1 in Kouvola, 1 in Järvenpää, 1 in Seinäjoki, 1 in Kangasala, 1 in Pori, 1 in Vihti, Kruunupyy (the number is unknown).

On Sunday, THL reported of 147 new coronavirus infections. Most new infections occurred in Helsinki (51), Vantaa (16) and Espoo (15).

There are no new deaths reported to be related to the coronavirus. The death toll is at 345.

The individual statistics of new infections don’t include municipalities where there are fewer than 5 infections.
