There are 9,892 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Tuesday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

The number of new infections between Monday and Tuesday is 149.

50 new infections have been confirmed in Helsinki (3,423), 16 in Jyväskylä (264), 12 in Espoo (1,148), 9 in Vantaa (1,125), 7 in Lieksa (26), 5 in Lahti (173), 5 in Tampere (229), 4 in Hyvinkää (99), 3 in Laukaa (14), 3 in Turku (336), 3 in Nurmijärvi (97), 2 in Kittilä (31), 2 in Seinäjoki (39), 2 in Ylöjärvi (22), 2 in Janakkala (15), 2 in Saarijärvi (9), 2 in Vaasa (59), 2 in Kuopio (92), 1 in Mäntsälä (30), 1 in Iisalmi (22), 1 in Valkeakoski (18), 1 in Joensuu (21), 1 in Lohja (61), 1 in Kotka (30), 1 in Sotkamo (25), 1 in Nokia (19), 1 in Pedesöre (6), 1 in Vihti (40), 1 in Mänttä-Vilppula (27), 1 in Heinola (8), 1 in Jämsä (17), (unknown number) Hattula. 1 in Asikkala (7).

There are two new deaths related to the coronavirus. The death toll is now at 345.

The individual statistics of new infections don’t include municipalities where there are fewer than 5 infections.
