There are 9,992 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Wednesday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).
The number of new infections between Tuesday and Wednesday is 100.
36 new infections have been confirmed in Helsinki (3,459), 9 in Vantaa (1,137), 8 in Espoo (1,148), 6 in Jyväskylä (230), 6 in Tampere (235), 3 in Nurmijärvi (100), 3 in Järvenpää (155),2 in Raisio (18), 2 in Kuopio (94), 2 in Lappeenranta (29), 2 in Turku (338), 2 in Oulu (121), 2 in Hyvinkää (101), 1 in Kouvola (40), 1 in Laitila (13), 1 in Äänekoski (43), 1 in Lieksa (27), 1 in Mänttä Vilppula (28), 1 in Iisalmi (23), 1 in Porvoo (80), 1 in Kerava (110), 1 in Ylöjärvi (23), 1 in Sipoo (87), 1 in Rauma (26), 1 in Alavus (7), 1 in Kirkkonummi (107), Leppävirta (unknown number).
No new deaths have been confirmed. The death toll is now at 345.
The individual statistics of new infections don’t include municipalities where there are fewer than 5 infections.
