There are 10,391 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Saturday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).

The number of new infections between Friday and Saturday is 147. One new death has been reported. The death toll now at 345.

Most new infections were confirmed in the following cities: 36 in Helsinki (3,586), 14 in Vaasa (76), 11 in Espoo (1,192) and 9 in Vantaa (1,169).

In addition, new infections were confirmed in the cities below:

8 in Oulu, 7 in Turku, 5 in Tampere, 4 in Saarijärvi, 3 in Ylöjärvi, 3 in Laukaa, 3 in Jyväskylä, 3 in Joensuu, 2 in Janakkala, 2 in Mikkeli, 2 in Nurmijärvi, 2 in Loimaa, 2 in Loviisa, 1 in Salo, 1 in Hamina, 1 in Paltamo, 1 in Jämsä, 1 in Savonlinna, 1 in Hämeenlinna, 1 in Tornio, 1 in Kokkola, 1 in Kaarina, 1 in Sastamala, 1 in Rovaniemi, 1 in Hyvinkää, 1 in Kangasala, 1 in Kolari, 1 in Lohja, 1 in Raisio, 1 in Kirkkonummi, 1 in Kauniainen, 1 in Tuusula, 1 in Kotka, 1 in Seinäjoki, 1 in Keminmaa, 1 Kuopio.

New cities where the number of infections were previously unknown include Ylivieska and Vimpeli.

The individual statistics of new infections don’t include municipalities where there are fewer than 5 infections.
