There are 10,244 confirmed coronavirus infections in Finland, according to the new numbers released on Friday by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL).
The number of new infections between Thursday and Friday is 141.
Most new infections were confirmed in the following municipalities: 56 new infections have been confirmed in Helsinki (3,554), 17 in Vantaa (1,160), 12 in Espoo (1,181), 7 in Turku (349).
In addition, new infections were confirmed in the cities and municipalities below:
4 in Kaarina, 3 in Iisalmi, 2 in Riihimäki, 2 in Laitila, 2 in Kurikka, 2 in Vaasa, 2 in Hyvinkää, 2 in Kajaani, 2 in Järvenpää, 1 in Raisio, 1 in Nurmijärvi, 1 in Joensuu, 1 in Pirkkala, 1 in Kouvola, 1 in Kirkkonummi, 1 in Lappeenranta, 1 in Rauma, 1 in Lieto, 1 in Nokia, 1 in Tuusula, 1 in Sotkamo, 1 Paltamo, 1 Salo, 1 in Naantali, 1 in Jyäskylä, 1 in Seinäjoki, 1 in Kokkola, 1 in Kotka, Loviisa and Porvoo.
No new deaths have been reported. The death toll is at 344.
The individual statistics of new infections don’t include municipalities where there are fewer than 5 infections.
