The number of confirmed new infections in the past 24 hours is 1,007.

200 in Helsinki, 111 in Vantaa, 89 in Oulu, 85 in Espoo, 66 in Turku, 30 in Nurmijärvi, 18 in Kirkkonummi, 16 in Lohja, 15 in Tampere, 14 in Rovaniemi, 14 in Imatra, 13 in Kouvola, 13 in Liminka, 12 in Kuopio, 12 in Kerava, 12 in Porvoo, 11 in Lappeenranta, 10 in Kokkola, 10 in Loimaa, 9 in Kaarina, 9 in Kempele, 8 in Rauma, 8 in Joensuu, 7 in Salo, 7 in Leppävirta, 7 in Nousiainen, 6 in Keminmaa, 6 in Muonio, 5 in Järvenpää, 5 in Hyvinkää, 5 in Sipoo, 5 in Kauniainen, 5 in Siilinjärvi, 5 in Hämeenkyrö, 5 in Ii.
306 (-16) patients are in hospital care being treated for symptoms caused by the virus. Of them, 42 (-1) are in intensive care.
