The arrested persons are a couple, in their 30s and 40s, who attempted a robbery, apparently with a knife at the bottom floor’s toilet facilities where a cleaner said that “there was blood everywhere.”

The injured person was taken to the hospital. According to the police, the injuries are not life-threatening nor do they require longer treatment.

Detective superintendent Jari Illukka from the Helsinki Police Department told STT news that the suspects turned themselves in voluntarily by visiting the police station on Tuesday.

“The suspects became aware that the police are looking for them. So, they came to the police station. Now they are here. Detained,” Illukka said.
