On Friday and over the weekend, high pressure will strengthen in Finland, the meteorologists say.

The weather will be mostly cloudy with some sun. During the day, temperatures in the southern and central parts of the country will rise to 5–10 degrees Celsius in the warmer areas. Over the weekend, thawing weather will spread throughout the country, including the northernmost Lapland. The nights will still be freezing.

According to the new monthly forecast by weather service Foreca, the week starting March 24 will be warmer than usual in Finland. Average temperatures will be 2–4 degrees above normal. Precipitation is expected to be slightly above average for the end of March.

Low pressure weather will spread over Finland.

On most days it will rain at least somewhere in Finland.

Precipitation will come as both snow and rain, with snowfall possible in the south at times.

Despite this, temperatures could reach 10 degrees Celsius during the week, especially in the southern and central parts of the country.
