The health protection authority lifted the boil water advisory for Northern Espoo on April 30, 2026, at 7:30 in the morning, as water samples are now clean, the Helsinki Region Environmental Services Authority (HSY) notes in a news release.
The lifting of the boil water advisory applies to the following areas: Juvanmalmi, Kalajärvi, Lahnus, Luukki, Korpilampi, Niittymäki, Odilampi, Perusmäki, Pirttimäki and Punametsä.
The advisory was initially issued due to a water main disruption caused by an excavator at a worksite.
Customers affected by water supply interruptions over 12 hours will receive compensation automatically as a credit on their water bill, without needing to file a claim.
