Brace yourself for beautiful, warm weather this weekend.

“The temperatures are widely going to rise over plus 10 degrees Celsius, even temperatures over plus 15 degrees are possible,” said Joanna Rinne, a meteorologist at weather service Foreca.

On Saturday, the temperatures are going to rise over plus 10 degrees in the southern parts.

The warm weather is caused by the foehn wind and warm air mass, which arrive in Finland from the south to West Europe and all the way to Finland.

According to the Finnish Meteorological Institute, the weather on Sunday would be exceptionally warm for the time of the year.

The all-time warm temperature record for Finland in March is plus 17.5 degrees, which was measured on March 27, 2007, in Vantaa at Helsinki Airport.
