The amusement park Linnanmäki opened its doors on Saturday April 25.

This year, instead of building yet another ride among the 43 already in place, the folks behind the amusement park decided to listen carefully to the customers’ needs and put together 100 new improvements around the park.

Finland Today got acquainted with the revamped park on Friday, while the crew was putting the final pieces together. Watch the video and join the tour around some of the improvements.

This summer, Linnanmäki, the oldest and the most popular amusement park in the country, located in Helsinki, celebrates its 65th anniversary with a programme that is more diverse than ever in its history.

All the activities at the park are run by the Children’s Day Foundation.

Linnanmäki, which was founded in 1950, is the oldest and the most popular amusement park in the country, offering 43 different rides and this year, 100 new improvements based on the customers’ needs.
