Floral Helsinki offers a unique opportunity to watch the top florists of Finland and the Nordic countries to compete in binding flowers at The Helsinki Music Centre over the weekend.

Expect sophisticated bouquets, not floppy bunch of flowers!

Friday’s highlight features sixteen floristry professionals and students from all over Finland competing for the National Championship. In addition, the cloakroom bursts in bloom, as floral professionals have taken over it with bouquets of roses, sunflowers and other colorful miracles.

On Saturday, teams of four from Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark go for the Nordic Championship.

All the competition tasks will be presented for the audience to admire and it is also possible to follow most of the competition tasks in progress. There will also be other, complementing program throughout the event for everybody to experience, and Finnish plants and flowers will be a big part of the event.

Finnish Nordic Championship in floristry is an individual competition, organized yearly. Nordic Championship in floristry is a competition for national teams of four, organized every 2-3 years.

Floral Helsinki Schedule:

Finnish National Championship in floristry on Friday, August 11 at 8:30-16:30.

Nordic Championship in floristry on Saturday, August 12 at 09:00-16:30.

Gala dinner on Saturday, August 12 at 19:00-01:00. The Finnish and Nordic champions are presented to the public.
