LAPLAND

The Chinese woman, who had traveled from Wuhan, China to Lapland and who was in the Lapland Central Hospital in special care for being infected with the coronavirus, has been released from the isolation ward.

The samples taken in the previous days have been negative and the patient is symptomless. The patient has been sent home.

The woman had been in the hospital since last Tuesday.

There are still a few people in quarantine in the areas of Rovaniemi and Inari because of being subjected to the virus. However, the people in quarantine have so far been symptomless. If they remain symptomless, they can be released 14 days after being subjected to the coronavirus.
