The weather will likely exceed the definition of hot weather, 25.1 degrees Celsius, today across the country, according to the Finnish Meteorological Institute.

Thursday and Friday are forecast to be the warmest days of the week when the temperatures could exceed 30 degrees in the southern and middle parts of the country.

The warmer weather could also cause thunderstorms, and damages due to gusting wind are possible.

On Thursday thunderstorms are possible in the middle parts of the country, and on Friday the hardest thunderstorms could be seen and heard in the western parts.

There could be isolated, mild thunderstorms across the country, excluding Lapland.

During the weekend it’s going to get chillier.
