The weather has once again caused Helsinki’s trams to run irregularly.

THERE WILL BE problems with the tram service in Helsinki on Friday due to heavy snowfall. There “may be” exceptions to the tram service on Friday morning and afternoon, Helsinki Region Transport (HSL) noted. The exceptions apply to tram lines 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10.

While HSL canceled tram services last week because of the freezing weather, the problem now seems to be the snow depth, which is currently about 35 centimeters in downtown Helsinki.

Some K-train services from Helsinki to Kerava are also canceled between 12:35 and 14:00.
