The season of dry heat has ended in Finland. On the following days, heavy rain showers, gusty winds and thunder are expected.

On Wednesday, 25,4 millimeters of rain has poured in the southern city of Hanko, which is the largest amount measured today. The second-largest amount was measured in Helsinki, where the morning rains amounted to 16,5 millimeters.

During the day, the rains will spread to central Finland.

Tomorrow, more rains are ahead.

According to meteorologists, it doesn’t look like that another period of heat would be returning in the forecastable future.
