The weather for the remaining week is going to be mild and rainy. A low-pressure area, according to weather service Foreca, is moving across the country during the following days.
On Wednesday, daytime temperatures are going to be around 8 to 10 degrees Celsius in the southern and central parts, and somewhere between 4 and 7 degrees in other parts except in Lapland, where daytime highs could drop to 2 degrees.
Wednesday is also going to be mostly rainy with daytime temperatures of about 10 degrees in southern and central parts and a few degrees chillier toward the north.
Thursday is going to be mild and rainy in most parts with similar daytime highs than in the past few days.
Foreca noted that it’s likely that the snow cover in Lapland is likely to melt away during the week. Some snow may remain on the ground in some parts of Nothern Lapland.
The weekend looks mild in most parts and occasional showers are possible.
