Rains and Hot Weather Ahead

It’s going to be rainy in most parts of the country today.

For the nature that has been dry for a while, it’s a good thing. For you, it means to pack your umbrella.

But sunny times are ahead.

According to the Finnish Meteorological Institute, the weather will slowly become fair, beginning at the west. Thundershowers are possible in the eastern parts.

The temperatures are to stay around 15 degrees; Thursday is the coldest day of the week.

On the weekend the weather becomes warmer.

According to weather service Foreca, on Sunday or Monday—depending on the winds—Finland may get a taste of the exceptional heat wave sweeping across Europe.

The temperatures are likely to rise above 30 degrees.
